Previously, I thought I had my cars being detailed. However, after having Erik Nyhuis, of Pro 1 Mobile Detailing, do my wife’s car; I realize I have been deluding myself. What a transformation! Tammy’s Scion xB transports our 60 pound Lab/Chow to the park almost every day. The car was a mess with drool stains down the doors, nose mark smeared windows and then there was the grunge caused by the dog (husband humor). We joke about how her car sometimes doubles as a big purse, so you realize the challenge he faced.
Erik arrived in the morning, at our home, ready to attack a larger than normal problem and vanquish it. He came fully stocked with tools, supplies and equipment one normally only sees at a commercial business you must to travel to. I was expecting his labor to only last a few hours, as this was my previous experience. Gee did I ever underestimate his attention to detail. He did not finish until long after the sun had set (note: this was a fixed price job, so there was not an incentive to drag things out).
I could tell he was disappointed with the lack of light, when I did the final inspection. In the light of day, I realized he wanted the light so I could fully appreciate the metamorphosis. The car did not look this good when we purchased it at the dealership showroom. Like a fantastic painting, I did not want to drive it, for fear of ruining perfection.
Sure the big items are expected to look great, but we are talking detail here folks. Tire valve stems, sparkplug wires, mirrors, knobs, hatch lid seals, seat seams, wheel wells, even the area between the seat and console, were all cleaned and conditioned.
In today’s impersonal business there is a often a lack of acumen. Not so with Pro 1. Erik followed up with voice and e-mail to ensure we were totally satisfied with his service. If you have any doubts, ask Erik to give you our contact information.

Pro 1 Mobile Detailing has been great! Erik’s house calls make the whole process very convenient. Although I actually enjoy doing my own washing and detailing, I sometimes don’t have the time or proper equipment to do it myself. Erik was able to polish out a few scratches on my BMW 530ix wagon with ease…something I have neither the equipment nor desire to try myself. Overall, I have been very pleased with Erik’s work and level of professionalism and I recommend his services without hesitation.

Hi Erik -
You did such a great job detailing the Jeep that we sold it a few
weeks later! Its kinda funny we realized that with the two dogs and
a kid on the way, we would be better off with a minivan and traded in
the Jeep a few weeks later. From a detailing perspective, the car
looked great... it was just starting to look a bit small.
Unfortunately I seem to have lost those pictures that I took for your
site (pre- and post paint damage) .... sorry about that!
In a few months I'll have to get you out to
do my Audi...
